I see some 240Zs have been, but those cars could be wildly different, I will assume if a person is taking it to the track they are somewhat competent and they have brakes, suspension, triple carbs, 5 speed etc... They say 9:57.2 was a good one for him.

Short answer, it doesnt. There is however, a 4th gen sport that went around. Video was nearly 17 minutes.
Edit: given the opportunity, I’d love to be the first.

Somehow I doubt anybody has laid down a time in a Roadmaster wagon.

I couldn’t find data on the S3. The closest I could get was the Seat Leon Cupra 280 which did it in 7:58.4
Out, but with a W - has found the answer

8.37 BTG, with coilovers and street-legal but track-oriented tires.

fastestlaps says the Abarth can do it 8:29:40 - found a video running 8:55 which I believe to be more realistic

According to the internet the original sales brochure states that an E34 M5 is supposed to have a time of 8 min 45 seconds. I don’t know which version of E34 M5s this is though.
Mine is probably slower as it is riddled with heavy options and it is an early E34 M5 (lacking 25 hp, 1 gear and high spec brakes).

Sounds like an entry for the “When I win the lottery” list.
In my case, I’ll put that right underneath “put a supercharger on the Buick”.

An Audi A3 3.2 with some mods and track tires. Putting down a 8min08 with stick and there was some traffic. Mine is at 270 hp with light suspension mods, would think with DSG and track tires it might turn a decent time.

Well I actually did a lap, but I was immediately overtaken by a Volvo Amazon so I doubt it is of any importance to anyone.
